INTRO TO ECO-PRINT
🍃 Intro to Eco-Print with Suzanne Connors
A one-day workshop exploring the natural beauty of botanical printing on cloth
Discover the art of eco-printing — a process that captures the delicate shapes, colors, and patterns of leaves and flowers directly onto fabric. In this hands-on workshop, Suzanne Connors will guide you through each stage of the technique, from plant selection and mordant preparation to bundling, steaming, and unveiling your finished prints.
Each participant will create a series of fabric samples and a finished scarf or cloth piece, learning how tannins, heat, and pressure interact to produce breathtaking natural imprints. The day is equal parts alchemy and artistry — revealing how simple organic materials can create subtle, complex works of wearable art.
